Najam plovila u Italija · Isla 40 in Sicily / Castellammare del Golfo / Porto di Castellammare del Golfo — (2022)

Sicily's indented coastline rewards shallow-draft exploration, and Isla's twin hulls draw just 1.1 meters—letting you anchor in bays and approach beaches impossible for deeper boats. From Castellammare del Golfo, the fjord-like Mondello inlet, the Egadi Islands, and the southern coast all become attainable in a week. The catamaran's 7-meter beam creates a stable platform that matters as much at anchor as under sail, especially when eleven people call a boat home for seven days. Below deck, five cabins and five bathrooms eliminate the usual bareboat compromise. Each cabin has natural light and ventilation through hull ports; the layout keeps guests out of each other's way and offers berths ranging from the forecabin to aft staterooms. The main saloon flows through to the cockpit, so the crew stays connected without crowding. Forward, the trampoline nets offer shaded refuge during calm afternoons, while the generous foredeck gives space to work the sails without drama. Isla handles group sailing in genuine comfort rather than in spite of the crew count. Her dual Yaram engines push her at eight knots when wind fails, and her shallow draft lets you make ground in light airs or thread narrow straits. Water and fuel capacity support longer passages between resupply stops. Whether you're experienced sailors or working toward confidence, this 2022 Fountaine Pajot delivers the space, stability, and accessibility that make a Sicilian week rewarding.
