Based in Lefkada's sheltered port, Orfeas gives a group of up to 11 the freedom to sail the Ionian on their own terms. This 2023 Dufour Catamaran 48 spreads living space across two hulls—five cabins and five bathrooms mean everyone has their own retreat after a day on deck. Below, the saloon opens to a well-equipped galley, while the cockpit gives you 360-degree sightlines for both sailing and anchoring. Taut trampolines stretch between the bows, offering a place to sunbathe or watch dolphins, and the foredeck gives plenty of room to move around working sails or simply enjoying the breeze.

The twin-hull design transforms how a catamaran sits at anchor. With minimal heel, shallow draft, and a wide, stable platform, Orfeas holds her ground in open water and slips into the bays and white-sand beaches that single-hulled boats cannot reach. Families and mixed-age groups appreciate the space and the gentle motion, especially in anything beyond flat water.

From Lefkada, a bareboat week opens the full Ionian arc: the vine-clad islands, hidden coves between Kefalonia and Ithaca, and village anchorages where you set your own pace. With the port's fuel, water, and provisions at hand, you chart the route. Orfeas at 14.70 metres is nimble enough to explore, spacious enough that nobody feels cramped, and stable enough to let you focus on the sailing and the islands ahead.
