Location de bateau a Îles Vierges britanniques · Sunsail 424 in Tortola / Road Town / Wickhams Cay II Marina — “Sunsail 424/4/4 Premium” — (2024)

Based at Road Town in Tortola, the Sunsail 424/4/4 Premium gives you unfettered access to the British Virgin Islands' most rewarding anchorages. The shallow draft that comes with twin hulls means you can reach protected bays and sand bars where monohulls cannot, while the beam width provides stable holding in the consistent trade winds that sweep the Sir Francis Drake Channel. When you drop anchor after a day's sail, the catamaran sits level and level—no wild swinging or uncomfortable heel when the breeze picks up. Living aboard works smoothly across four separate cabins and four bathrooms, so a group of ten has genuine privacy and breathing room. The saloon sits high and open between the hulls, giving sightlines across the water and easy flow to the cockpit aft and trampolines forward. Those trampolines matter more than they first appear: they're where crew stretch out on passage, where the kids play safely underway, and where you watch sunsets without leaving the boat. The foredeck is generous enough to work the anchor without crowding, and the wide sidedecks make moving forward and aft straightforward even when the boat is moving. Two hulls also mean less motion underway and more deck space than a single-hulled boat of similar length. From Wickhams Cay II Marina, a week's charter opens up Jost Van Dyke, the Dogs, Virgin Gorda's anchorages, and the deeper islands to the south—each a different kind of sailing and a different kind of anchorage.
