Location de bateau a Polynésie française · Ocean Voyager 53 in Papeete, Tahiti / Papeete — “Poe Nui” — (2019)

From Papeete, Poe Nui reaches the Society Islands and Tuamotu atolls within a day's sail, opening a week of island-hopping across some of the South Pacific's most protected waters. This 2019 Ocean Voyager 53 is built for exactly this kind of bareboat charter: three cabins sleeping five guests, with layout and beam that let families or small groups spread out comfortably without crowding. Below deck, the catamaran's twin hulls mean wide cabins and a saloon that stays level at anchor, even when wind picks up. One bathroom serves the boat efficiently. The galley sits central to the saloon, making meal preparation social rather than isolated. On deck, wide trampolines between the hulls offer lounging space that motor yachts simply cannot match, while the foredeck provides room to move safely when handling sails or taking in the view. The dual-hull design draws minimal water—crucial when exploring lagoons and shallow anchorages where deeper boats cannot venture. Stability matters in Polynesian cruising. Catamarans hold their ground when anchored, reducing swing and the constant motion that tires crews on longer trips. The shallow draft lets you choose anchorages closer to reefs and beaches, staying in clearer water and shorter dinghy rides to shore. A week from Papeete offers genuine freedom: sail where the trade winds take you, anchor where the water calls, and feel the boat beneath you respond to conditions rather than fight them.
