Location de bateau a Belize · Leopard 50 in Placencia — “Moorings 5000-4 Exclusive” — (2023)

From Placencia's relaxed waterfront, the Moorings 5000-4 Exclusive launches you into Belize's most rewarding sailing grounds. This Leopard 50 catamaran lets ten guests spread across five cabins, each with its own ensuite or shared bathroom access among the four aboard. The layout splits living between two hulls, creating private retreats for couples and families while the saloon and cockpit serve as shared gathering spaces where everyone can sail, eat, and watch the sunset together. What makes the twin-hulled design work is stability without sacrifice. At anchor, the two hulls grip the seabed with confidence, letting you sleep level even in gentle swells that would roll a monohull. That 1.3-meter shallow draft opens anchorages others skip—pale flats around Half Moon Caye, the protected shallows near Tobacco Caye, and quiet beach stops where you step straight onto sand. The wide beam creates uncluttered foredeck and trampoline space, perfect for sunbathing, morning swims, or simply moving around without feeling cramped. A week from Placencia rewards curiosity. Head south to the Sapodilla Cayes and their snorkeling reefs, or north toward Belize City and the atolls beyond. Lighthouse Reef, Glover's, or the Northern Cayes all sit within reach. The Moorings 5000-4 Exclusive carries the water, fuel, and cabin berths to anchor where you want, how long you want, keeping your group together and the horizon always changing.
