Location de bateau a Îles Vierges britanniques · Leopard 42 in Tortola / Road Town / Wickhams Cay II Marina — “Moorings 4200/3/3 Club” — (2023)

Sailing from Tortola, the Moorings 4200/3/3 Club gives you instant access to the British Virgin Islands' most sheltered anchorages and shallow beach landings that deeper-keeled monohulls cannot reach. The dual-hull design draws just over a metre of water, letting you slip into Jost Van Dyke's White Bay or the protected waters around Virgin Gorda without hesitation. At anchor, the catamaran's wide beam keeps the boat level in all conditions, so your group feels genuinely at rest rather than constantly braced against heel. Below decks, three separate cabins and three full bathrooms mean no queuing or compromises—families spread across their own sleeping quarters with private heads, while the saloon serves as genuine shared space rather than a squeeze. The open cockpit and generous trampolines turn the boat into a floating terrace between sails, perfect for lazy afternoons or evening gatherings as the sun sets over Anegada. The foredeck offers a calm platform for swimming or simply watching the water. This 2023 Leopard 42 is built for bareboat autonomy. The furled mainsail and genoa make sail handling straightforward, and at 12.67 metres you're managing a boat that responds without fighting you. From Road Town, eight people can spend a week exploring everything from Scrub Island's windward side to the calm bays of Copper Mine Point, choosing anchorages and timing based purely on mood and weather. That freedom—to move at your pace, explore on your terms, rest where you please—is what bareboat sailing in the Caribbean is really about.
