Location de bateau a Grèce · Lagoon 420 in Volos / Port of Volos — “Amelia” — (2008)

Volos offers a distinctive gateway to the Aegean: close to the Sporades' sheltered channels and within reach of the Pelion peninsula's quiet anchorages. Amelia, a 2008 Lagoon 420, brings a straightforward asset to bareboat cruising from this working port—a catamaran hull form that transforms what you can do with a week's sailing. The twin hulls keep you stable at anchor without constant engine correction, valuable when you're settling in for an evening. That wide, shallow draft lets you explore the sandy bays and rocky inlets where monohulls draw too deep, opening itineraries that single-hull boats can't reach. Below deck, four cabins and four ensuite bathrooms let eight guests have genuine privacy; the saloon sits central and light-filled, with galley access built for meal preparation underway. Topside, the trampolines between hulls give you a sprawling platform for sunbathing, while the foredeck remains uncluttered and safe for anchor work. The cockpit layout keeps helm and sheet control within a few steps, manageable for small watch teams during day sails. Amelia's responsive twin engines handle the tight channel work common in these waters, and her beam gives you genuine living space rather than the narrow cabins of single-hulled boats. From Volos, a week opens onto sustained island-hopping without the ferry schedules: leisurely mornings, anchorages nobody's crowded, and the flexibility that bareboat charter promises. The Lagoon 420 performs this role without fuss.
