Location de bateau a Îles Vierges britanniques · Lucia 40 in Tortola / Road Town / Fort Burt Marina — “Happy Ours” — (2017)

The Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 is built for groups who want room to breathe. Happy Ours delivers four separate cabins and two full bathrooms—enough that eight guests never feel crowded. The layout separates the master suite forward from three guest cabins aft, each with its own berth and storage. Two heads with showers mean morning routines stay civilized. Up top, the dual hulls create an unusually wide saloon with full headroom and windows that wrap the living space in natural light, while the cockpit sits open and uncluttered, ideal for evening anchorages or watching the horizon during long passages. What makes the catamaran form matter becomes clear at anchor. The two hulls sit shallower in the water than monohulls of similar length, letting you anchor in sandy bays and approach beaches the deeper boats cannot reach. That shallow draft opens up the British Virgin Islands completely—the Baths, Anegada's flats, the small anchorages between Jost Van Dyke and Little Jost. The beam of the boat also means you're stable at rest, without the constant swaying that can tire guests by the end of a week. Based at Road Town's Fort Burt Marina, Happy Ours sits within easy reach of the best sailing in the Caribbean. Tortola itself offers provisioning and supplies, while the surrounding islands—Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, Cooper Island—lie within half-day sails. The catamaran's twin engines and efficient fuel consumption mean you can cruise confidently from anchorage to anchorage, letting the boat take you where the group wants to go.
