The 2024 Excess 14 accommodates 12 guests across 6 cabins with 4 bathrooms—enough privacy and comfort that group dynamics stay positive through a week at sea. Each cabin is compact but well-designed, and the four separate bathrooms eliminate the queue tensions that plague smaller boats.

Living aboard comes down to how a catamaran uses its space differently. The twin hulls create a saloon and galley down below that feel open and level, while the twin-hull platform means you can anchor in 1.2 meters and not worry about rolling through the night. The broad beam gives you real foredeck space and proper trampolines between the hulls—places to sprawl out, read, and feel the motion of the water without feeling trapped.
