Mooring off Le Marin puts you at the heart of Martinique's sailing, where the southern coast opens onto the Grenadines and beyond. STAR II, a 2023 Excess 11, sits ready for eight guests to cast off and explore at their own pace. This 11.42-meter catamaran spans two hulls built for the realities of Caribbean cruising: stable enough to hold an anchor without rolling, shallow-drafted enough to slip into bays and beach anchorages where mono-hulls cannot follow, and roomy enough that four cabins and two bathrooms mean everyone gets genuine space and privacy.

Below deck, the saloon sits between the hulls where the motion is smallest, with a galley and dining area arranged for groups to cook and gather comfortably. Forward, each hull houses cabins with their own character; the bathrooms are positioned for convenience. Topside, the trampolines stretched between the bows offer views and lounging that only a catamaran can provide. The cockpit is the social heart, where sailing feels effortless and the scenery dominates your attention.

From this base, you control the week. Sail south toward Bequia and Mustique, anchor in Carlisle Bay, or explore the island's windward side. The twin engines and furling mainsail give you options when wind and timing matter. It is straightforward bareboat sailing in warm water, with comfort and capability built into the design.
