This Fountaine Pajot Isla 40 from 2022 is a four-cabin catamaran built to carry ten guests comfortably across the Aegean's most rewarding cruising grounds, whether you're sailing family groups, friends, or a mix of both.

On board, the twin hulls create space that a monohull simply cannot match. Four separate cabins with four full bathrooms mean everyone has privacy and comfort. The saloon and generous cockpit flow naturally between socialising and dining, while the trampolines and foredeck give you sun-soaking room without crowding. The two hulls also do the real work: they keep Ares X steady at anchor even when you're hosting ten people, and their shallow 1.2-metre draft opens anchorages that deeper boats cannot reach—the quiet bays near Ekincik, sandy holds off the Dalyan Delta, and the protected waters around Fethiye.

From Adaköy Marina, a week's bareboat charter takes you into pine-backed coves, rocky islands, and villages unchanged for centuries. You'll anchor in clear water deep enough for swimming, shallow enough to see the seabed. Sail when the wind suits you, motor when it doesn't, and return each evening to a stable platform.
