Boat charter in St. Lucia · Sunsail 424 in St. Lucia / Castries / Rodney Bay Marina — “Sunsail 424/4/4 Classic” — (2022)

Rodney Bay Marina sits at the heart of the Grenadines' best cruising grounds, and the Sunsail 424/4/4 Classic puts that advantage directly in your hands. This 12.8-meter catamaran sleeps ten across four cabins, each with private en-suite facilities—a rare comfort on bareboat charters. The layout separates guest cabins from the crew areas, giving your group genuine privacy while the saloon anchors the galley and dining space between the hulls, letting natural light and air flow through without sacrificing shelter. Two hulls transform how you actually use the boat. At anchor, the wide platform keeps you rock-steady in swells that would have monohulls pitching all night. The shallow draft opens up Mayreau's mangrove channels, Palm Island's sandy bays, and the Tobago Cays' protected lagoons—waters where deeper-keeled vessels simply cannot go. On deck, the bridge connects both hulls with uninterrupted trampoline space forward, while the cockpit spreads wide enough for your whole crew to gather without crowding. Bathrooms and cabin access are straightforward from here; everything flows without the cramped passages that define single-hulled boats. From Castries, you have Bequia and Mustique within a morning's sail, the Tobago Cays by lunchtime, and Union Island by evening. The space below deck means no one's cooped up during a rain squall, and the beam-to-length ratio gives enough stability that dinners stay on the table and sleep comes easily.
