Boat charter in Spain · New 44 in Mallorca / Palma de Mallorca / La Lonja Marina Charter — “FP 44” — (2026)

Launching from La Lonja Marina in Palma, the FP 44 puts eight people within striking distance of Mallorca's rocky coves, Menorca's remote anchorages, and the Balearic archipelago's quieter corners. This 2026 catamaran carries its beam generously across the water—crucial for a large group or families seeking room to breathe. Four separate cabins with four full bathrooms mean genuine privacy for up to four couples, each cabin thoughtfully fitted with storage for a week away. The twin hulls work harder than a single keel. Shallow draft slips into bays and onto sand that deeper vessels cannot reach. Stability at anchor means minimal swinging through the night, particularly valuable when eight berths are occupied. Underway, the wide platform resists rolling and pitching, a comfort that compounds over seven days at sea. The saloon, galley, and cockpit flow together naturally, with the foredeck offering unobstructed views and the trampolines providing space for crew rotation or simple rest between sailing. Modern navigation and engine systems keep bareboat handling straightforward. From Palma's base, a week's cruising encompasses protected anchorages, market towns accessible by dinghy, and open passages where the FP 44's dual engines and sail setup work together efficiently. Whether your crew craves anchorage-hopping relaxation or more ambitious sailing, this catamaran delivers the stability and layout that make both possible.
