Boat charter in Italy · Leopard 45 in Sicily / Furnari / Marina Portorosa — “Moorings 4500 Club” — (2019)

Marina Portorosa sits at the northern tip of Sicily, offering immediate access to the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands beyond. From this strategic base, the Moorings 4500 Club lets you move between volcanic beaches, protected anchorages, and quiet fishing villages with flexibility a monohull simply cannot match. The Leopard 45's shallow draft opens up bays and shoreline spots where deeper-hulled boats cannot reach, while the dual-hull design keeps the boat level and predictable at anchor, crucial when you're holding in variable holding ground or waiting out wind shifts. Living aboard for a week, you'll find the catamaran's 13.72-metre length spread across five cabins and four bathrooms, with genuinely separate spaces rather than conversion corners. The saloon sits open to the helm, giving everyone sightlines over the water. Two trampolines stretch between the hulls, perfect for morning coffee or evening breeze. The foredeck gives safe movement forward without squeezing between railings. Bareboat sailing from here rewards confidence and curiosity. The Leopard's twin engines and straightforward layout mean you're not fighting the boat's design. Whether your group is a family of six or friends seeking a floating base for exploring, the stability and space of this catamaran turn a week's charter into genuine cruising freedom, not just a week afloat.
