## About this Catamaran

Cienfuegos sits at the mouth of a sheltered bay on Cuba's southern coast, a natural hub for exploring some of the Caribbean's most unspoiled waters. From Marina Cienfuegos, Kupela Cuba—a 2005 Lavezzi 40—puts you within reach of isolated anchorages, shallow-water bays inaccessible to monohulls, and the UNESCO-protected architecture of the colonial port itself. The catamaran's twin hulls draw less than two metres, opening routes through the cays and shallows that define this region.

Life on board balances openness with privacy. The saloon sits raised above the water, offering sight lines in all directions through large windows. Below, six cabins sleep eight guests across two hulls, each with its own character and access. Two full bathrooms are thoughtfully placed to serve both sides of the boat. On deck, the wide trampolines stretching between the hulls become a second living space—perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon spent watching the shoreline. The foredeck provides generous space for sunbathing or handling anchor work without the usual squeeze of a monohull.

Two hulls mean real advantages here. The beam gives you tremendous interior volume and a main saloon that doesn't feel confined. At anchor, there's no rolling—you sit level and stable even when swell wraps around the bay. The shallow draft means you can anchor feet from white-sand beaches and approach mangrove channels where deeper boats simply cannot go. For a week cruising from Cienfuegos, that combination of space, stability, and access transforms what you can see and where you can sleep.
