Boat charter in Italy · Lagoon Sixty 5 in Sicily / Capo d'Orlando Marina — “SAILUXE - La Controra” — (2026)

From Capo d'Orlando Marina on Sicily's northern coast, SAILUXE - La Controra opens up a week of sailing through some of the Mediterranean's most compelling waters. The Aeolian Islands sit within easy reach, their volcanic peaks visible across calm seas, while the Tyrrhenian coast reveals secluded anchorages and fishing villages rarely crowded with charter boats. Living aboard this Lagoon Sixty 5 feels spacious by any standard. Five cabins each have their own ensuite bathroom, a luxury that matters when ten guests share a boat for a week. The main saloon and cockpit flow together naturally, with the galley positioned to serve both areas. The wide trampolines forward and the generous foredeck give everyone room to settle into their own rhythm—some reading in the sun while others gather around the dining table. The twin hulls do real work here. At anchor in shallow bays and off sandy beaches, the catamaran sits rock-stable without swinging nervously in the swell. That shallow draft means you reach places monohulls can't, and the wide beam creates a platform steady enough for families with children or groups who value comfort over adrenaline. Your professional crew handles the sailing and navigation, leaving you free to decide whether each day calls for an early departure to explore, or an extra hour swimming in clear water before weighing anchor.
