Boat charter in Italy · Lagoon 440 in Sardinia / Olbia / Marina Golfo Cugnana — “Hot Wind” — (2008)

Based in Olbia, Hot Wind puts you within reach of Sardinia's most coveted cruising grounds—the Maddalena Archipelago, the Emerald Coast, and sheltered bays perfect for families and groups. A 2008 Lagoon 440, she sleeps 10 across four separate cabins and four full bathrooms, making her ideal for two families or a group who value privacy and comfort below deck. Her layout centers around a light saloon that flows directly to the helm station and dual helm seats, with easy access to the trampolines and foredeck where you can relax underway or at anchor. The Lagoon 440's catamaran hull form delivers the stability that matters most when you're floating at rest for hours or exploring shallow anchorages. Two hulls mean a shallow draft, letting you reach the quiet beaches and hidden coves that monohulls cannot access. The wide beam and bridging saloon create a sense of space that makes ten people feel unrushed, whether you're sheltering from wind or gathering for an evening meal. Bareboat freedom means your week follows no schedule but your own. From Olbia you can sail east to the wild granite islands of La Maddalena, west toward Corsica, or south along the Emerald Coast, with reliable engines and solid handling to get you there and back. Hot Wind is set up for guests who want independence, confidence, and room for everyone to find their space on the water.
