Boat charter in Cuba · Lagoon 421 in Cienfuegos / Marlin Marina Cienfuegos — “Estrella” — (2015)

Based at Marlin Marina in Cienfuegos, Estrella sits ready to explore Cuba's southern coast and the Trinidad archipelago—a region of shallow anchorages and protected bays that reward smaller-draft vessels. This 2015 Lagoon 421 draws just 1.15 metres, letting bareboat sailors slip into coves and reef-lined channels where deeper monohulls cannot venture. Five cabins and four bathrooms serve nine guests comfortably across the hulls, with sleeping arrangements that suit families, friends, or groups sharing a week's cruise. The twin-hull design keeps the boat level at anchor in open water, reduces pitching underway, and creates a stable platform for evening drinks on the trampolines or forward deck. Below, the saloon spans the bridge deck between hulls, offering headroom and sightlines. Each cabin cabin has its own approach; bathrooms are distributed to avoid congestion during morning routines. Estrella's broad beam opens generous cockpit space for cooking, lounging, and navigation work. Furling sails and a four-cylinder diesel engine give you the choice between wind and motor as you work east towards Cayo Blanco or southwest into the Canarreos. Shallow draft and catamaran stability together mean you can anchor where you choose, explore small islands, and enjoy the peace of empty anchorages—the real reason to sail Cuban waters.
