Boat charter in Italy · Lagoon 400 S2 in La Spezia / Porto Mirabello — “Mirfak” — (2018)

Moored in Porto Mirabello at La Spezia, Mirfak sits ready for week-long exploration of the Ligurian coast and beyond. This 2018 Lagoon 400 S2 catamaran sleeps up to 10 guests across four well-appointed cabins, each with its own ensuite bathroom—a layout that makes group sailing genuinely comfortable rather than a test of patience. The catamaran's twin hulls define how you'll actually live aboard. At anchor, that beam brings rock-solid stability when you're relaxing in the saloon or stepping onto the foredeck without the roll that makes monohulls tiring. Below decks, the four cabins and bathrooms are distributed across both hulls, spreading guests naturally rather than stacking them like a hotel. Up top, the trampolines and wraparound cockpit give you open air space that no single-hulled boat of this length can match—perfect for morning coffee or evening aperitivos while watching light change on the water. The shallow 1.2-meter draft opens La Spezia's greatest gift: access to the Gulf of Poets and shallow anchorages tucked into coves where deeper-drafted boats cannot go. From your base, a week's sailing reaches Cinque Terre's dramatic cliffs, the Portovenere archipelago, and quiet swimming spots in between. Whether you're bareboat sailing these waters for the first time or returning to familiar anchorages, Mirfak's responsive handling and reliable engine make passage work straightforward, leaving more time for the reason you came: Mediterranean light, Italian villages, and the particular freedom of a week on water.
