Boat charter in Dodecanese · Lagoon 40 in Rhodes New Marina — “Destiny” — (2020)

From Rhodes New Marina, Destiny opens the Greek islands to groups and families who want real space and straightforward sailing. This Lagoon 40, delivered in 2020, sleeps ten guests across six cabins and four bathrooms—enough privacy that couples or small families barely see each other until dinner. The saloon runs the full beam, bright and open, while the cockpit wraps around the helm with room for everyone to move. Forward, the twin trampolines are where mornings happen: coffee, conversation, and views that stretch to Turkey on clear days. The two-hull design does real work here. At anchor, Destiny sits flat and steady even when the Meltemi picks up; there's no motion sickness, no swinging into your neighbor. The shallow draft—1.2 meters—means you beach the boat to swim, poke into Symi's harbor when others wait outside, or find your own bay. Four bathrooms and decent galley storage mean a week doesn't feel crowded. The twin diesels handle variable wind without theatre. Bareboat from Rhodes puts you among the Dodecanese within an afternoon: Panormitis, Symi, Tilos, Nisyros. Each island trades something different—those steep harbor walls, that volcanic landscape, the taverna run by the fisherman's daughter. Destiny gives you the boat to do it simply, with the comfort to actually enjoy arrival.
