Boat charter in Greece · Lagoon 40 in Porto Heli — “DEMY” — (2023)

Porto Heli sits at the heart of the Saronic Gulf, where sheltered waters lap rocky coves and the Peloponnese unfolds behind you. DEMY, a 2023 Lagoon 40, anchors here as your base for exploring islands that dot the horizon—Hydra, Spetses, and the quieter anchorages that larger monohulls cannot easily reach. The catamaran's shallow draft lets you tuck into bays and pull up to beaches where single-hulled boats run aground, opening water that feels genuinely private. Life aboard DEMY works well for a crew of ten. Four separate cabins mean families and friends can retreat to their own space, while four bathrooms spare the morning queue. The saloon sits wide between the two hulls, catching light from windows that run full length. The cockpit is broad and secure, with the trampoline nets forward offering a deck where you can sprawl, read, or watch the water slip by. The foredeck is generous enough for anchoring work without drama, and those nets between the hulls give children and strong swimmers a safe play zone in calm anchorages. Two hulls deliver what matters most: they sit flat at anchor in the kind of gusts that rock a monohull, and they heel less under sail, so your drink stays in your glass and your stomach stays settled. DEMY carries fuel and water to run a week without resupply, and the twin engines handle the light winds and calm mornings the Saronic often serves. This is a boat that lets you sail as much or as little as you choose, anchored or cruising, with room enough that nobody gets in anybody's way.
