## About this Catamaran

Based at D-Marin Dalmacija in Sukošan, a short run from the islands of Zadar and the Kornati, LANCELOT is a 2019 Lagoon 40 that gives twelve guests six cabins and four bathrooms to share. Each cabin has its own berth and the bathrooms are arranged so that the group rarely queues in the morning. The saloon is a bright, open space around the galley and table, and the cockpit is where the crew spends most of the day, with the helm and a generous seating area for sun and shade. Forward, the twin trampolines are a favourite spot for reading or watching the coastline slide past, and the foredeck is wide enough to take a sunbed and a dinghy line without getting in the way.

Two hulls are the reason this boat suits a group. A catamaran sits level at anchor, so the cabins and saloon stay comfortable through a calm evening without the roll that a monohull picks up in a swell. Its shallow draft lets you slip into bays and anchor close to beaches where a deeper keel would have to stay outside, and it makes shallow coves on the Dalmatian coast far easier to reach. Because the living space is spread across the full beam, families and groups can spread out, with room to eat together, lounge and keep their own corners without crowding one another.

From Sukošan, a week's cruising can take in the Zadar archipelago, the national park islands and quiet anchorages that change with the wind.
