Boat charter in Croatia · Lagoon 39 in Dubrovnik / Marina Frapa Dubrovnik — “Pulpo” — (2014)

Pulpo waits for you at Marina Frapa, steps from Dubrovnik's medieval walls, ready to carry twelve guests into the Adriatic's best anchorages. The Lagoon 39 catamaran layout works hard for groups: six separate cabins mean families and friends each get their own retreat, while four bathrooms eliminate morning queues. The saloon runs the full width of the bridge deck, drawing light through large windows, and opens directly to a cockpit where you can helm, dine, or simply watch the coastline unfold. Forward, the twin trampolines span the gap between hulls—a place to sunbathe, swim from, and genuinely belong to the boat rather than just cross the deck. The two-hull design does the heavy lifting. A catamaran sits flat at anchor without dragging you from side to side, letting you sleep and relax properly when the engine cuts off. The shallow 1.2-metre draft opens access to Croatia's most protected anchorages: sandy bays, rocky coves, and narrow channels where monohulls draw too deep. The wide 6.5-metre beam translates to genuine cabin space, proper bathroom comfort, and a galley that works rather than just exists. You move around without wedging into corners. From Dubrovnik, your week unfolds across the Elaphiti Islands with their secluded moorings, down the Dalmatian coast to medieval villages and limestone cliffs, or eastward to quieter bays. The Lagoon 39 gives a mixed crew—including non-sailors—the boat they actually need: stable underfoot, spacious enough to avoid tension, and capable of reaching everywhere worth going.
