## About this Catamaran

From Corfu's tranquil Gouvia Marina, Le Grand Bleu opens the Ionian's sheltered bays and island villages to groups of up to ten sailors. This 2015 Lagoon 39 combines the dual-hull advantages that make catamaran cruising distinct: rock-solid stability when anchored, a shallow draft that reaches beaches and shallow anchorages unavailable to deeper-hulled yachts, and the kind of interior volume that lets families and friends move around without constant negotiation.

Onboard, the six-cabin layout distributes guests across the vessel thoughtfully, while four bathrooms mean morning routines stay civil. The bridging saloon connects both hulls and opens to a cockpit designed for steering and socializing in the same breath. Forward, the wide trampolines and open foredeck give you space to stretch, watch the bow cut through clear water, and let children play safely above the hulls.

The bareboat setup suits experienced sailors comfortable with their own navigation and timing. Two hulls give you handling precision where it matters: smooth motion at anchor, responsive steering through narrows, and the confidence to approach shallow anchorages where deeper monohulls cannot follow. From Gouvia, a week's cruise could trace the Greek islands north towards Albania or south towards Lefkada, anchoring each night in different clear bays. The Yanmar engine and full sail plan handle variable Ionian conditions with ease, though the dual-hull platform means many days you'll sail with the engine off entirely.
