Boat charter in Croatia · Saona 47 in Seget Donji / Marina Baotić — “SUNNY WAVE” — (2018)

Based at Seget Donji on Croatia's Dalmatian coast, SUNNY WAVE opens up a week's exploration of the Adriatic's most dramatic islands and sheltered anchorages. This 2018 Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 sits in an ideal position to cruise the Dalmatian archipelago, reaching everything from Hvar's busy harbours to the quiet bays of the Pakleni Islands within hours of leaving the dock. Living aboard a catamaran means different practicalities than a monohull. Six separate cabins and five bathrooms mean guests rarely queue, and the wide beams of the twin hulls create genuine living space rather than narrow corridors. The saloon feels airy and open, the galley functional for group cooking, and the cockpit offers both shelter and exposure depending on your mood. Forward, the trampolines stretch between the bows—a genuine advantage of the catamaran design, giving swimmers and sunbathers space the single-hulled boats simply don't have. The twin hulls deliver tangible benefits at sea and at anchor. SUNNY WAVE sits stable in variable conditions, with minimal rolling that matters when twelve people are sharing the space. Her shallow draft is the real advantage: while deeper-keeled yachts must anchor in designated fields, you can tuck into turquoise bays, nose up to pebble beaches, and explore narrow channels where they cannot go. For family groups and friends travelling together, the combination of cabin independence and shared deck space, paired with the freedom those two hulls provide, makes the Saona 47 a genuine platform for the kind of Adriatic week most sailors imagine.
