Boat charter in Greece · Saona 47 in Athens / Alimos Marina — “Eclipsea” — (2020)

Chartering from Athens puts you minutes from the Saronic Gulf and Cycladic waters, and a Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 like Eclipsea is built to get you there in comfort. Six cabins and six bathrooms mean no negotiation over shower times—whether you're sailing with family, friends, or colleagues, everyone has private space to retreat to. Below deck, the layout splits the accommodation across the two hulls, maximizing privacy and reducing galley noise from sleeping areas. The saloon connects both hulls and opens to the cockpit where most of a week unfolds: morning coffee, afternoon navigation, sunset drinks, and those long evenings anchored in quiet bays. Two substantial trampolines span the bows, offering the catamaran's signature lounge space with water just below. The foredeck gives crew room to work while passengers stretch out forward. Two hulls matter more than you might think. Eclipsea sits level at anchor, no constant heel making you brace in the saloon or struggle upstairs to bed. Her shallow draft—a catamaran advantage—opens anchorages from the Cyclades to the Argo-Saronic where deeper keels cannot go. That means hidden beaches, less crowded mooring fields, and the kind of coves guidebooks mention but others cannot easily reach. At 13.94 meters, she carries a crew or flotilla comfortably without the compromise of a smaller boat. From Alimos Marina, a week's sailing explores everything from Hydra's stone houses to the Cycladic islands, all within a hull form that lets you focus on the sailing and the company, not on wrestling the boat.
