Boat charter in France · Salina 48 in Corsica / Porto Vecchio / Marina Porto Vecchio — “Shamane” — (2013)

Porto Vecchio opens onto some of the Mediterranean's most protected anchorages, and Shamane sits perfectly positioned to explore them. This 2013 Fountaine Pajot Salina 48 catamaran gives you the draft to slip into shallow bays and the beam to live comfortably for a week with a full group. Six separate cabins—including master berths with ensuite bathrooms—mean everyone has genuine privacy, while the central saloon serves as your gathering space when you want to dine or shelter from the afternoon heat. On deck is where the catamaran design shows its real advantage. The bridging trampolines stretch between the two hulls, offering sun-soaking space that a monohull can't match. The foredeck gives you uncluttered access forward, and the cockpit flows into the saloon without cramped transitions. Two hulls deliver the stability that matters most when you're anchored: the boat sits level in the swell, making sleep easier and dinner less of a balancing act. That same design draws just 1.25 metres, allowing you to reach anchorages and beaches that larger vessels cannot. Your crew handles navigation and all technical sailing, freeing you to experience the Tyrrhenian coast on your terms. From limestone cliffs to hidden coves, the week unfolds at anchor, under sail, and ashore. Shamane carries the fuel and water to explore widely, and bases from Porto Vecchio let you sample Corsica's eastern shore without compromise.
