Boat charter in British Virgin Islands · Saba 50 in Tortola / Road Town / Fort Burt Marina — “Sunrise” — (2018)

From Road Town's protected anchorage, Sunrise opens up the British Virgin Islands' scattered cays and hidden bays within a morning's sail. This 2018 Fountaine Pajot Saba 50 sleeps twelve guests across six private cabins, each with its own bathroom—a rare comfort on charter catamarans. The full-beam saloon spans both hulls, creating a light, open living space for groups or families who want to relax together without feeling cramped. Aloft, the expansive cockpit offers shade and sea breezes, while the bridging trampolines and foredeck give you room to stretch, swim from, or simply watch the horizon. Two hulls make all the difference on a bareboat cruise. Sunrise's shallow draft lets you explore anchorages unreachable by monohulls—coral-sand flats, tight bays behind barrier reefs, and secret swimming spots near the beach. That same dual-hull design locks you in place with minimal swing when you anchor, so you won't spin through the night as wind shifts. With twelve berths, the layout works whether you're sailing with extended family, a flotilla of friends, or a group chartering together for a week. From Fort Burt Marina, you can reach Jost Van Dyke for sunset drinks, motor to the Indians for underwater sculpture, or island-hop toward Virgin Gorda's Baths. The British Virgin Islands' consistent easterly trades and clear waters reward both experienced sailors and those learning to helm. Sunrise gives you the space, stability and shallow-water access to make the most of every day.
