Margarita is a 2019 Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40, 11.73 metres long, and she works well for a group that wants its own space without giving up time on the water. Four cabins each have an en suite bathroom, so ten guests can settle in with privacy and no queue for the shower in the morning. The saloon is bright and open, with the galley and dining area sharing one living space, and the cockpit is where most of the week happens: meals outdoors, sundowners, and long afternoons under the bimini. Forward, the trampolines and foredeck give a good spot for sunbathing and watching the coast slide past.

Two hulls matter in practice. A catamaran sits level at anchor, so the boat stays comfortable through a lunch stop or a calm night in a bay, without the heel that makes a monohull hard to live in. Her shallow draught lets you take the boat into sheltered bays and close to beaches where deeper keels would have to stay outside, and the wide beam gives the group the room that a single-hull boat of this length could not offer.
