Boat charter in Greece · Astréa 42 in Paros / Piso Livadi Port — “SHANGRI-LA” — (2019)

Paros sits at the heart of the Cyclades, and SHANGRI-LA launches you into island-hopping from the working port of Piso Livadi. This 2019 Fountaine Pajot Astréa 42 sleeps 12 across four cabins, each with its own ensuite bathroom, so families and groups spread out without compromising comfort or privacy. The saloon and cockpit flow naturally from the twin hulls' wide beam, creating generous living space that never feels cramped, even at full capacity. What makes a catamaran essential in these waters is what you won't feel once you're anchored. The dual-hull design delivers rock-steady holding in protected bays while the shallow 1.2-metre draft lets you reach secret coves and sandy beaches where deeper-hulled boats cannot. The trampoline nets stretched between the bows become your sun deck and observation point; the foredeck offers safe space to move and anchor watch. Below, the straightforward cabin layout means everyone finds their berth without confusion. From Paros, a week spreads open across three directions. Head south toward Antiparos and its blue caves, drift east to Naxos and Koufonisia, or cruise north through the densest island clusters where daily anchorages shift from white villages to empty strands. SHANGRI-LA's beam and stability let you sail with confidence in any chop, while her shallow draft and proven systems take the guesswork out of bareboat cruising. This is the boat that lets you focus on the islands themselves, not the mechanics of getting there.
