Boat charter in Cyclades · Astréa 42 in Paros port — “Argo I” — (2023)

Paros is a natural choice for dual-hull sailing. Argo I, a 2023 Fountaine Pajot Astréa 42, sits at the heart of the Cyclades' most accessible waters, giving you six cabins and five bathrooms spread across a hull configuration that makes all the difference for groups of up to ten guests. The twin hulls mean genuine stability when you're anchored off a beach—no rolling, no anxiety about holding position in a blow. That same design gives you a shallow 1.2-meter draft, which opens bays and sandy anchorages that deeper-keeled yachts cannot access. Think turquoise shallows, islands without crowds, and the freedom to choose where you sleep each night. On board, the layout reflects what families and groups actually need. Two forward cabins sit isolated in each hull, offering privacy. The saloon and cockpit flow into one another, creating a natural hub where ten people can gather without feeling cramped. Above deck, the twin trampolines stretched between the hulls are where you'll spend mornings and afternoons, shaded or sun-soaked depending on your mood. The foredeck stays clear for swimming and anchoring without the cluster that comes on smaller boats. From Paros, a week's cruising takes you through genuine sailing territory. Naxos, Antiparos, Despotiko, the smaller Paros neighbors—all sit within easy reach. The catamaran's beam and shallow draft mean you'll get closer to what matters: the islands themselves, not the ferry schedules or crowded ports.
