Boat charter in Italy · Astréa 42 in Salerno / Marina d'Arechi — “Deutz” — (2024)

Salerno's Marina d'Arechi puts you steps from the Amalfi Coast, Capri, and the islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea—and Deutz, a 2024 Fountaine Pajot Astréa 42, is built to make the most of it. This catamaran sleeps eleven across five cabins, each with its own bathroom arrangement, so a group or extended family can spread out comfortably without compromise. The layout flows naturally from the saloon galley forward through the cabin corridors, with four bathrooms ensuring everyone's morning routine stays manageable. The twin hulls do the real work. At anchor, they keep Deutz stable and level in the gentle swells that stir most bays around here. The shallow draft means you can nose into coves and beach anchorages where monohulls can't follow, and the wide deck platform between the hulls—with trampolines and a generous foredeck—becomes your own floating terrace. The cockpit is properly sized for handling under sail, and sightlines are clean enough that bareboat sailors feel at home quickly. A week from Salerno lets you pick your rhythm: tight loops around Positano and Amalfi, day sails to Capri and Ischia, or longer reaches toward Corsica and the Pontine Islands. The twin-hull platform and beam give eleven people room to move, to swim, and to genuinely enjoy being together at sea.
