Boat charter in Greece · Astréa 42 in Lefkada / D-Marin Marina Lefkas — “Orestes” — (2021)

Orestes sits ready at D-Marin Marina Lefkas in Lefkada, positioned to unlock a week of island-hopping through the Ionian. From here, you can slip anchor in the morning and reach Meganisi, Paxi, or the sheltered bays around Nydri by afternoon—distances that reward the catamaran's shallow 1.45-meter draft, opening up anchorages that monohulls can't reach. The twin-hull design is the working advantage. At anchor, Orestes sits flat and stable even in moderate chop, meaning less swaying below deck and easier movement for a group of 12. That stability comes from beam—space to port and starboard that gives you proper cabins instead of coffin berths. You get six separate cabins and four bathrooms, each with genuine headroom and light. The saloon stretches across both hulls, creating a social hub that doesn't feel cramped when everyone gathers out of the afternoon heat. Outside, the trampolines between the bows become a second living room, and the foredeck gives you genuine space to work or simply sit forward and watch the water change color. This is bareboat sailing for confident crews who want independence and the room to move. Twin Yarmars give you the power to motor through windless straits or slot into tight anchorages, while modern navigation systems and proper deck layout let you sail with the helm where it should be. Orestes isn't a floating hotel—it's a catamaran built for working sailors who happen to bring their friends.
