Boat charter in Dodecanese · Excess 11 in Rhodes New Marina — “Geva Mare X” — (2022)

Departing from Rhodes New Marina puts you at the heart of the Dodecanese, with immediate access to sheltered bays, island villages, and open Aegean sailing. Geva Mare X, a 2022 Excess 11, makes the most of this geography. Her twin hulls sit shallow enough to nose into anchorages unreachable by monohulls, while their width creates a platform of stability—critical when you're anchored for the afternoon with ten people aboard. Below deck, the catamaran's beam translates into genuine living space. Six cabins accommodate up to 10 guests, each with private berth and headroom you won't feel cramped in. Two full bathrooms mean mornings run smoother with a group or family. The saloon sits between the hulls, naturally lit and ventilated, a gathering spot that doesn't feel like an afterthought. The galley has proper workspace; the navigation station sits forward where you can actually see what's coming. Above, the twin trampolines net the foredeck into a social space—perfect for morning coffee or watching dolphins. The cockpit has the kind of seating and shade that makes full-day sailing comfortable, not a test of endurance. At 11.42 meters, Geva Mare X feels substantial without being unwieldy for a bareboat crew. The Excess design handles the passage between Rhodes and Symi, the run down to Lipsi, or weeks of island-hopping with steady performance and modest fuel consumption. She's built to go where you want to anchor, carry who you want to bring, and get there without drama.
