Boat charter in Türkiye · Excess 11 in Fethiye / Lykia Yacht Club — “Kale I” — (2023)

Kale I is a 2023 Excess 11 catamaran ready for bareboat charter from Fethiye, where the Turkish coast opens onto island anchorages, mountain-backed bays, and shallow waters that reward early explorers. At 11.39 metres, this twin-hulled cruiser carries ten guests comfortably, distributed across six cabins served by three bathrooms. The catamaran layout—split between two hulls—creates genuine separation between sleeping quarters and living spaces, so families and groups stay out of each other's way without sacrifice. On deck, the wide platform between the hulls brings a sense of openness that monohulls cannot match. The foredeck and trampolines offer unobstructed views and genuine lounging space, while the saloon and cockpit integrate seamlessly for entertaining or quiet reflection. Cabins range from aft staterooms with hull windows to forward berths tucked into the bow sections, each with its own character. Bathrooms are distributed throughout, reducing morning queues on longer charters. Two hulls deliver the performance that makes Fethiye waters so accessible. Stability at anchor means no roll or swing when wind gusts, freeing crew to relax rather than manage the boat. The shallow draft opens bays and beaches inaccessible to deeper-keeled yachts—a decisive advantage when discovering Turkey's lesser-known coves. For a week's sailing, this means flexibility: anchor where others cannot, hold position in gentle holding, and return each evening to protected water. Kale I combines modern comfort with the practical advantages that make bareboat cruising effortless.
