Boat charter in Croatia · Dufour Catamaran 48 in Primošten / Marina Kremik — “NOX” — (2021)

Primošten offers something rare in the Adriatic: a protected, shallow-water base that rewards catamaran sailors with instant access to hidden coves, pebble beaches, and the densest cluster of islands in Croatia. Moored at Marina Kremik, NOX sits perfectly positioned to drift among them under sail, or drop anchor in sand where a monohull would struggle. The Dufour 48 catamaran's twin hulls are why this matters. That wide, stable platform keeps the boat level and confident at anchor, even when the gusts come across an exposed bay. The shallow draft—typically 1.2 meters—lets you explore where charter boats usually cannot: the protected waters between Brač and Hvar, the Pakleni Islands' quieter anchorages, the reefs and shallows around Vis. For a group of twelve, two hulls also mean something simpler: genuine space. Six private cabins, each with its own bathroom, eliminate the compromise of shared facilities. The saloon sits generous and light between the hulls, with the cockpit offering both shelter and full visibility for watch-keeping and daylong lounging. Above deck, the wide trampolines spanning the bow become the week's social anchor—a place to swim before breakfast, read through the afternoon heat, or watch the sun sink over Dalmatia. The foredeck stays clear and manageable, with lazy sheets and a well-placed windlass. Bareboat sailing on NOX suits groups who value both independence and comfort: the boat handles easily, yet never forces you to sacrifice the kind of living space that makes a week away feel like a holiday rather than a trial.
