Boat charter in Spain · Dufour 48 Cat in Ibiza / Sant Antoni de Portmany Port — “El Mar” — (2025)

Anchored in Sant Antoni de Portmany, El Mar offers direct access to Ibiza's quieter anchorages and the wider Balearic sailing grounds. This 2025 Dufour 48 Cat brings room for 11 guests across six cabins and five bathrooms, making it well-suited to families and groups who value personal space without sacrificing shared moments. Onboard, the layout distributes comfort thoughtfully. Each cabin has its own ensuite or nearby bathroom, while the saloon opens onto an expansive cockpit where the whole party gathers for meals and conversation. Forward, the trampolines and foredeck provide natural spaces for sunbathing and swimming, with the twin hulls creating a wide, stable platform that moves little at anchor. That stability matters when you're cooking, sleeping, or simply reading. Below the waterline, the shallow 1.45-meter draft lets you explore bays and beach anchorages that deeper-hulled vessels cannot access, expanding your weekly options considerably. Two hulls also mean space. Between the cabins, saloon, and deck, El Mar feels uncrowded even when full. A crewed charter means your time focuses on swimming, exploring villages, and enjoying the rhythm of the Balearic coast rather than navigating or provisioning. From Sant Antoni, a week's itinerary can easily sweep through quieter anchorages toward Formentera or the Pitiusas, or drift northward to smaller coves along Ibiza's eastern shore. The catamaran's design and location work together to open possibilities.
