Boat charter in Italy · Catamaran in Naples / Mergelina e Porto di Sannazaro — “Gold Wind” — (2016)

From Naples' bustling waterfront at Mergelina, Gold Wind sets out toward the Sorrentine Peninsula and beyond—a 2016 catamaran built to make the most of what the twin-hull design delivers. The wide, stable platform means four guests settle in without crowding, with two private cabins providing genuine retreat space. Below deck, the saloon opens naturally into the galley, while the focused cockpit keeps your crewed captain in command and guests within easy conversation. Up forward, the expansive trampolines and foredeck become your private sunbathing sanctuary, strung between the two hulls where the sea air flows freely. The catamaran's two hulls are not incidental to the experience—they are the foundation of it. Anchored off a Campania beach, you sit rock-steady without the roll of single-hull yachts; shallow draft means reaching the small bays and sandy coves where larger vessels cannot venture. A family or two couples find genuine elbow room without feeling aboard a ship. The generous cockpit becomes your outdoor living room, shaded and sheltered, while the trampoline invites hours of effortless lounging. Based in Naples, Gold Wind opens a week's cruising toward Capri's blue grottoes, the wine islands of Ischia and Procida, or westward along the Amalfi Coast. With a crew handling navigation and hospitality, you move through these waters without the weight of yacht management. That leaves you free to dive, explore villages at anchor, and let the Mediterranean rhythm set the pace.
