Boat charter in Italy · Bali 5.4 in Sardinia / Porto Rotondo - Punta Asfodeli / Marina di Asfodeli — “Ortensia” — (2020)

Ortensia sits at Marina di Asfodeli in Porto Rotondo, where Sardinia's Costa Smeralda meets sheltered anchorages perfect for families and groups of twelve. This 2020 Bali 5.4 combines the space that two hulls provide with the comfort of five cabins and seven bathrooms spread across 16.80 metres. The generous main saloon and cockpit flow into each other, while forward the trampolines and foredeck offer sun and social space that single-hulled boats simply cannot match. Below deck, the layout prioritises practicality: cabins are distributed across both hulls to prevent bottlenecks, and the multiple bathrooms mean guests avoid the early-morning queue. The galley sits naturally within the saloon, keeping the cook connected to the group. Stability at anchor comes from the twin-hull design, which also draws shallow draft—essential when exploring Sardinia's granite coves and white-sand bays that deeper boats cannot reach. A week from Porto Rotondo opens the Maddalena Archipelago to the north and the rocky inlets toward Portisco and beyond. The catamaran's steady platform means easier anchoring in variable conditions, while the cabin distribution suits multiple families or friends who value privacy without isolation. Ortensia delivers the bareboat freedom to choose your own rhythm across Sardinia's most rewarding cruising ground.
