Boat charter in Italy · Bali 4.6 in Sicily / Palermo / Marina Villa Igiea — “Lux” — (2023)

From Marina Villa Igiea in Palermo, Lux is positioned perfectly for a week exploring Sicily's most rewarding sailing grounds. The Aeolian Islands are within easy reach, as are the Egadi Archipelago and the Tyrrhenian coast—each offering sheltered anchorages, small fishing villages, and clear waters ideal for swimming and diving. The Bali 4.6 catamaran design matters here. Two hulls mean genuine stability when you're anchored off an island for the evening, no rolling or pitching as the swell moves through. The shallow draft lets Lux slip into bays and approach beaches that deeper-hulled yachts cannot access, opening up quieter corners and hidden anchorages. With five cabins and five en-suite bathrooms, there is genuine privacy for ten guests—families or groups can spread out rather than share confined spaces. The twin-hull width creates an expansive saloon and a generous foredeck with trampolines, plus a comfortable cockpit where the crew can work and guests can gather. As a crewed charter, Lux comes with experienced crew handling navigation, provisioning, and meal preparation. This means your group is free to focus on swimming, exploring, or simply settling into the rhythm of Mediterranean life. The generous on-deck space—trampolines forward, cockpit aft—makes lounging and socializing natural. A week based from Palermo aboard Lux combines ease of access with genuine adventure among islands that reward those who slow down and truly arrive.
