Boat charter in Malta · Bali 4.1 in Malta / Kalkara Marina — “Double Six” — (2019)

Based at Kalkara Marina in Malta, Double Six sits ready to unlock a week of island-hopping across some of the Mediterranean's most navigable waters. The Bali 4.1's shallow draft and twin hulls mean you'll anchor where deeper-keeled boats must stay offshore, and reach the small, sandy coves between Malta, Gozo, and Comino that make this region special. The dual-hull design holds Double Six steady at anchor even in moderate conditions, letting ten guests relax without feeling the boat work beneath them. Living aboard means six air-conditioned cabins spread across both hulls, each with its own berth, and four bathrooms so the inevitable queues stay short. The main saloon sits high enough to catch sea views, and the separate helm station keeps navigation independent from social space. Step outside and you get twin trampolines strung between the hulls—the best vantage point for watching the Maltese coast slip past—plus a foredeck large enough for a dozen people to gather without crowding. For a bareboat week, this layout does real work. The central saloon becomes the obvious gathering point for breakfasts and evening meals. The open cockpit suits long lunches and stargazing. Crew members and families have room to spread out, to take watches comfortably, and to enjoy the kind of unstructured Mediterranean sailing that makes these waters worth the effort.
