Boat charter in Italy · Bali 4.1 in Sicily / Capo d'Orlando Marina — “PAOLA” — (2019)

From Capo d'Orlando Marina, PAOLA opens a week of bareboat freedom across Sicily's most rewarding sailing grounds. The Aeolian Islands lie close enough for day trips, while the mainland coast unfolds with anchorages that shift from rocky cliffs to sandy bays—each one accessible because of what this 12.10-metre Bali 4.1 can do. With a draught of just 1.20 metres, she glides into shallow waters where deeper-hulled boats cannot follow, reaching secret coves and letting you anchor where the light hits the water perfectly. Living aboard works well for a group or family. Six cabins hold ten people, each with a portlight or window, and four bathrooms mean less negotiation at morning and evening routines. The saloon sits amidships with good sightlines to the helm, a natural gathering space when weather or appetite brings everyone below. On deck, the wide beam—7.45 metres—creates genuine space. Twin trampolines stretch between the hulls forward; the cockpit sits open to the breeze; the foredeck invites you to sit and watch the sailing unfold. The twin hulls do the real work. At anchor, PAOLA sits rock-solid without drama, no swinging in the gusts that make monohulls dance. That stability extends to sailing, where the breadth of the platform lets you move freely without shifting the boat's trim. The Yammer engines are straightforward and efficient; the furling system handles without strain. Whether you plan detailed itineraries or prefer to see each day decide itself, PAOLA gives you a reliable, spacious platform for exploring one of Europe's finest sailing regions.
