Marsh Harbour sits at the hub of the northern Bahamas, and a week from Beach Resort Marina puts you within reach of the Exuma Cays, the Abacos, and the remote islands beyond. The Moorings 5000 Exclusive is a 2024 Leopard 50 catamaran built to take groups and families comfortably through these waters. With 11 berths split across four cabins, each with its own bathroom, there is real privacy for everyone on board—no shared heads, no morning queues. Life aboard flows around the twin hulls. The wide beam gives you a saloon that breathes, with the galley positioned to open onto the cockpit where the helmsman sits. The trampoline netting stretches between the bows, a place to read or watch the water pass beneath you. The foredeck is clear and safe for anchoring work. Below, the cabins tuck into the hulls themselves, making efficient use of the space: you get proper beds, not bunks squeezed into corners. Four bathrooms means showers happen without negotiation. Catamaran design matters out here. The shallow 1.30-metre draft lets you slip into bays and creeks where monohulls cannot follow, reaching the tidal bars and white-sand anchorages that make the Bahamas special. At anchor, two hulls mean minimal roll—the boat sits flat and stable whether you are stopped for the day or sleeping overnight. For a bareboat week, that stability and shallow access combine to open routes that suit your group's pace and interests.
