The catamaran's twin hulls make this reach genuinely workable. They sit shallow enough to anchor comfortably in the Mediterranean's many small bays and off sandy beaches where monohulls simply cannot go. That beam also means remarkable stability—you'll feel the difference when lying at anchor or running downwind in a swell.
