Bootscharter in St. Martin · Sunsail 424 in Saint Martin / Marigot / Marina Fort Louis — “Sunsail 424/4/4 Classic” — (2022)

From Marina Fort Louis in Marigot, the Sunsail 424/4/4 Classic opens the Lesser Antilles to groups and families seeking genuine space without compromise. This 2022 catamaran sleeps ten across four separate cabins, each with its own bathroom—a layout that transforms a week-long charter from shared quarters into genuine comfort. The separation of sleeping spaces means families can claim their privacy, while the saloon and foredeck become shared territory for gathering and storytelling. Life aboard flows naturally across two hulls. The wide beam creates a genuinely stable platform whether anchored overnight or moving through beam seas, while the shallow draft gets you into bays and anchorages that monohulls cannot reach. The trampolines stretched between the hulls offer a third living space—somewhere to read, watch the water, or simply drift at anchor. Forward, the foredeck provides uncluttered views and safe movement from bow to stern, a layout that separates work areas from leisure. From this French base, a week of sailing reaches Saint Barts, Anguilla, and the Grenadines in either direction. The twin hulls carry the weight and gear of a larger group without the sailing complexity that would demand professional crew. The dual engines handle tight approaches into marinas and anchorages, while the efficient sail plan rewards those who want to actually sail. The galley, saloon setup, and multiple deck areas work because they're distributed across the space rather than stacked—this is how bareboat works for ten people who actually want to relax together.
