Bootscharter in Italian Adriatic · New 41 in Rodi Garganico — “Sea Eagle III” — (2025)

Rodi Garganico sits where the Gargano peninsula juts into the Adriatic, offering Sea Eagle III immediate access to shallow bays, limestone cliffs, and small anchorages that larger monohulls cannot reach. This New 41 catamaran opens week-long routes along the Italian coast and into the Ionian islands, with the shallow draft and stability to explore where conventional sailboats draw back. The two-hull design is more than comfort: it means minimal heeling at anchor, so everyone sleeps well even in choppy weather, and the broad platform gives six separate cabins and four bathrooms enough space for ten guests without the usual crowding of group charters. The saloon sits high between the hulls, offering 360-degree views and easy flow to the cockpit. Forward, wide trampolines and an open foredeck provide room to move, stretch, and feel the wind without stepping on each other. Below deck, the cabin layout lets families or close friends find privacy when they need it. Sailing from Rodi Garganico, you choose your pace: motor to a protected bay by noon, anchor in clear water over sand, then explore by dinghy or simply swim from the boat. The broad cockpit hosts dinners at anchor; the forward space catches morning sun and sea breezes. Sea Eagle III handles reef-to-anchor days as easily as leisurely hops between villages, giving you the freedom to follow wind, weather, and mood across one of Europe's most unspoiled sailing grounds.
