Bootscharter in Italien · Nautitech 40 Open in Tropea / Porto di Tropea — “Lullaby” — (2022)

Tropea's position on Calabria's coast gives you immediate access to some of southern Italy's most rewarding sailing grounds, and Lullaby is built to make the most of them. This 2022 Nautitech 40 Open spreads 11.99 meters across two hulls, giving you the stability that matters when anchoring for the afternoon and the shallow 1.2-meter draft that lets you explore bays and beaches larger boats must skip. Five cabins and three bathrooms mean eleven guests can actually be comfortable together—no one's squeezed into a cupboard, no queuing for the shower. Living aboard works because the space is genuinely usable. The saloon sits at the center with views in all directions, natural light floods through the windows, and the galley sits where cooks can still talk to everyone else. Topside, the trampolines stretch between the hulls, and the foredeck offers room to move without tripping over lines. Each cabin has decent headroom and real ventilation, not an afterthought. Two hulls also mean different sailing. The catamaran's platform is stable enough that people who get seasick often feel better, and there's less pitching when the wind picks up. From Tropea, a week's cruising reaches the Aeolian Islands, the rocky Calabrian shore, and countless quieter anchorages where you'll actually want to stay put. Lullaby handles well enough for confident bareboat crews, responsive enough to make sailing feel present rather than mechanical.
