Bootscharter in Athens / Saronic Gulf · Moon Sail 60 in Lavrion Main Port — “Moonlight” — (2022)

Lavrion's position at the gateway to the central and southern Aegean makes it an ideal launch point for a week's sailing, and Moonlight, a 2022 Moon Sail 60, is built to make the most of those waters. This crewed catamaran sleeps 13 guests across seven cabins, each with its own bathroom—a practical luxury when traveling with families or larger groups. The layout keeps everyone comfortable without feeling cramped: separate sleeping areas for privacy, but shared saloon and galley space that naturally brings people together in the evenings. On deck, the catamaran's 8.5-meter beam opens up usable room for living. The trampolines forward catch the breeze and offer quiet space to read or watch the horizon, while the cockpit provides shelter and sightlines. Two hulls matter here in real ways. They stabilize Moonlight at anchor, so you sleep level rather than rocking. They give you a shallow 1.3-meter draft, meaning you can nose into anchorages and approach beaches that monohulls cannot, exploring smaller bays and islands off the usual routes. The beam also spreads weight differently, so moving around deck feels safe and the boat doesn't heel as much under sail. From Lavrion, a week opens toward Hydra, the Saronic islands, or east toward the Cyclades. Your crew handles navigation and seamanship, leaving you free to swim in clear water, visit villages, and simply be present. That combination—technical stability, practical space, and easy access to protected waters—is what makes a catamaran the right choice for groups seeking both comfort and genuine exploration.
