Bootscharter in Griechenland · Leopard 42 in Preveza Main Port — “Moorings 4200/4 Exclusive” — (2024)

Launching from Preveza Main Port puts you at the gateway to two sailing worlds: the mountainous Ionian islands to the south and the sheltered northern Aegean. The Moorings 4200/4 Exclusive is built for both, with four cabins and four bathrooms arranged so that each of your ten guests enjoys privacy and space. The two hulls create a stable platform for living aboard—smooth at anchor even when the wind picks up, and shallow enough to push into quiet bays and beach anchorages that monohulls cannot reach. The wide beam opens up genuine cabins and a galley that doesn't feel compressed, while the salon's windows frame views across the water. Deck life is where the catamaran truly works. The trampolines strung between the hulls give you sun space without taking over the cockpit, and the foredeck offers room to move freely. Two hulls mean you're carrying a group or family comfortably without feeling crowded, each person able to find a spot—whether that's shaded in the saloon, stretched out forward, or perched on the edge watching the water slip past. From Preveza, a week's cruising reaches the Lefkas islands, the Paxi group, and down toward Corfu. You'll anchor where the holding is good and the swell barely touches you, enjoying the stability that makes a catamaran the natural choice for a bareboat week with people who aren't looking for drama.
