Bootscharter in Martinique · Lagoon 52 in Martinique / Le Marin — “Takamaka” — (2016)

Takamaka operates from Le Marin, Martinique's premier yacht base, positioning you within hours of the Pitons, the Grenadines, and Tobago Cays. This 2016 Lagoon 52 sleeps 12 guests across six cabins, each paired with its own bathroom—a practical advantage when families or friend groups share a week at sea. Catamaran hulls mean something tangible here. Takamaka sits stable at anchor in exposed locations where monohulls would swing restlessly, and her shallow draft opens access to protected bays and sandy anchorages that deeper-keeled boats cannot enter. The saloon runs the full width between the hulls, creating generous indoor space for gathering during tropical downpours. Outside, the trampolines stretching between the bows offer the signature catamaran experience—lying suspended above the water with views ahead. The shaded cockpit provides a working area for your crew and a social hub for meals and evening drinks. With a professional crew handling navigation, sailing, and meal preparation, your week unfolds without the logistics of bareboat sailing. You choose the rhythm: diving the Tobago Cays one day, exploring a quiet anchorage the next, or anchoring near a village for dinner ashore. Takamaka's breadth and stability make the movement between islands feel effortless, not exhausting. The catamaran format simply works for groups who value space, comfort, and the freedom to discover the Lesser Antilles at their own pace.
